Lebanon a Tech Hub
As of late the news about Lebanon tend to be related to the bad political situation. To my surprise, while I was browsing one of my favorite tech sites, I was shocked to see the Lebanese Flag with a different type of story this time. The website I am talking about is EETIMES which is an online electronics magazine published in the US. And the article is talking about “15 Companies Hoping to Make Lebanon a Global Tech Hub“.
The article is about the UK LEBANON TECH HUB. Apparently 15 makers/companies from Lebanon went to London to benefit from expertise of the University College of London and other U.K. institutions in order to take their ideas to the rest of the world.
Beyond the content of the article, it was a very pleasant surprise to see our beloved flag on such an honorable website. Hopefully, we will be seeing more of these companies in the near future.
